Doug Green is an award winning author, gardener and potential curmudgeon who is dedicated to the craft of enjoying life’s simple pleasures.
He and his partner Mayo (an heirloom garden plant expert) live in Savannah, Georgia for the winters and an island in the St. Lawrence River 1000 Islands chain for the summer months.
The insanely proud father of four children (all following their own dreams) Doug writes almost every day and then tries to spend time either on the water sailing, doing some gardening work or working in the shop on his British sports car (why is it that everyone who owns one of these spends a lot of time in the shop with it?) 
His only problem is that he finds the older he gets, the more projects he wants to take on. So many interesting things in life and so little time.
