I’m a voracious reader and many of these books have shaped my life in positive ways. This is a growing kind of project as I backdate some of them, continually add more, and report on the books that have shaped my life. (And that might shape yours.)
As I rebuild this site, I have to confess I’m completely taken aback by the dearth of book reviews here. Given the number of books I read every month, I’ve been quite the slacker at reporting on them. I intend to do better (June 20176)
One of the things I’ve become aware of is the huge number of books that some younger folks (podcasters/writers) read. Most of these are big, idea-rich books about skill improvement or… Well, here’s my take on the entire how-to book reading surge.

Quiet: I wish I’d read this many years ago. It’s one of those ground breaking books that reaches out to smack you between the eyes. If you’re an introvert, have introvert children or know introverts (yeah, you know introverts) you’ll want to read this book.
